Legal and political definition of the notion of aggression

Summary/Abstract: The paper considers legal and political aspects of the international crime of aggression. Particular attention is afforded to the actual definition of aggression, as well as the issue of state accountability for this crime, which is still not clearly outlined in international legal sources. It also analyses the possible avenues for forthcoming assembly debates among state signatories of the Statute of the International Criminal Court, which are to reach a decision on integration of aggression in the Statute.
