Summary/Abstract: Both the presence and management of stress factors in concert activity are involved in one of the most important and difficult problems to be approached and resolved by piano pedagogy. Numerous pedagogues, performers, psychologists and education experts have been concerned with the matter of stress management in view of a concert, this being still an upto- date problem of the utmost importance. The analysis of pupils’ and students’ concert activity has enabled me to identify a series of contextual factors through which stress management was attained and, implicitly, the increase of stage performance.
