Summary/Abstract: Oral-dental health, as part of the general health concept, may influence or be influenced by a series of parameters. We folowed these oral-dental health parameters in wind instrumentalists trying to correlate profesional risk factors to certain disturbances of oral-dental development. The position of teeth is connected and determined also by the position of the mandible reported to the skull base. The musculo-skeletal attitude of the entire body and the repartition of the plantar body weight may change the position of the mandible in report to the skull base and, subseqquently, the position of teeth on the dental arches. Instrumentalists playing wind instruments change their respiratory muscular and even skeletal balance due to wrong positions adopted during playing. In the reported case, we followed neuromuscular and skeletal changes and skull and temporo-mandible dysfunctions, their evolution throughout skeletal development and their influence on oral-dental health.
