Summary/Abstract: This article focuses on the issue of think tanks in Poland. Think tanks are organizations engaged in research, analysis and advisory activities on the domestic and international issues. They influence the policy makers and the public. Think tanks deserve attention because they contribute to the functioning of democracy. Their methods and approach, however, also carry some risk.
