On the Right of Resistance and the Civil Disobedience

Summary/Abstract: The subject of the article is a development of the notion of right of resistance in the history of the political philosophy. There are presented several positions on this matter, since the antique Greeks, thorugh the French monarchomachs, to J. Locke. The second part contains a short description of the civil disobedience, on the base of such a personalities as H.D. Thoreau, H. Arendt, J. Rawls and others.
