Summary/Abstract: This article offers a historical and anthropological analysis of how Time is experienced in Transylvania by the Hungarian and Romanian students at the University "Babes-Bolyai". Furthermore, it offers a historical and anthropological perspective on how it influences the identity of these students. When I say Time, I talk about history and memory as well, and I follow a temporal path that gave birth to two stories and two different memories, even opposite ones, of Transylvania. I focus on Time because it is a basic factor around which relationships between people are built, between Self and the Other, and thereby it participates in the construction of identity.
