Summary/Abstract: The paper puts forth a generative analysis of the mediopassive and the reflexive verbal form (RVf). It is claimed that syntactic and semantic characteristics of these constructions may be accounted for on the assumption that semantic roles are understood as clusters of elementary semantic features.
