SEMANTIC IMPLICATIONS OF ELISION OF REFLEXIVE CLITICS IN THE PROCESS OF DEVERBATIVE TRANSFORMATION

Summary/Abstract: This paper deals with the problems of nominalization in Czech, especially when are elided the reflexive clitics se, si and how it can influence the meaning. with the help of theoretical framework of generative grammar (Chomsky’s minimalism) we can show, how the structure in gradually defined steps is formed, but we could not say, why it happens in so few cases we found.
