Summary/Abstract: Legal texts are characterized by a high degree of clarity and precision that the translator is obliged to transfer in the target text. His task as a translator in this domain is burdened with additional responsibility as possible language errors could have far-reaching consequences in practice. So, before starting to translate the source text, he is obliged to consider the challenges ahead that may be of different nature, terminological, textual etc. This paper will analyze the complex lexical units, collocations and phrasemes and their translation from French to Macedonian and vice versa. A special attention will be paid to the presentation of these units in various terminological resources as essential tools of the translator.
