Dietrich von Hildebrand’s and Fr. Jerzy Popiełuszko’s response to the question “What is truth?”

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to show the answer what the truth is accordingly to Dietrich von Hildebrand and fr. Jerzy Popiełuszko. Their legacies meet in one particular point which is a passion for truth. My discussion will focus on the paramount importance truth had for both of them highlighting their fidelity to true testimony that proves the authenticity of their legacies. The paper will show the response to them , it was either ardent hatred or ardent love. In the last paragraph there is a role of the Catholic Church stressed as a source of thruth, especially the sacrifice to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
