On 'literary' Polish language abroad

Summary/Abstract: Polish language used by native speakers in Poland is both the same as and different from the language used by Poles abroad. Polish language develops differently in Poland and abroad, it is learned and adapted in a different way as well. The aim of the article is to analyze the conditions of teaching Polish language abroad and to point out the possibilities of combining the linguistic and literary education in one multidimensional entity. The authors of the article present the idea of correlated method of teaching which is based on perfecting language skills through literary texts. It seems that using correlated method in teaching language and history of literature is worth being introduced into Polish schools abroad.
