Summary/Abstract: The paper discusses the classification of the word kao. Based on the study of other languages, the paper argues that there is an absolute case in Bosnian. The introduction of the absolute case would solve many dilemmas concerning the classification of the prepositions which are not followed by a noun in the oblique case.
