Summary/Abstract: The article is describing the needs of women belonging to the Roman Catholic Church of Austria. Thanks to the work of women, the diocese of Linz, trying to meet their challenges, installed a Womens' Commission in 1997. The Commission may send delegates to the highest decision bodies and give input in womens' affairs.
