Summary/Abstract: The present article will examine the re-writing of the myth of Don Juan in contemporary Bulgarian theatre. The main subject of analysis will be the play of Georgi Gospodinov D.J., written in 2004, and some theatre performances from recent years where the myth of Don Juan has been questioned.
