Methodology of research on relationships in science and technology parks in network approach

Summary/Abstract: Interorganizational relations have been a subject of intensive research effort since the 1970s. The mainstream research has been carried out using network approach. This approach concentrates on the structure and dynamics of relationships among various entities beyond typical seller-buyer dyad. In the article methodological assumptions for research on relational outcomes in network perspective are shown. The research environment has been set to science and technology parks (STPs). STPs offer relatively convenient access to isolated network of formal and informal relations. This allows the observation and analysis of running businesses in more detail.
