Summary/Abstract: Byzantine and western cultural influences into Romanian Countries in XIVth-XVth centuries. Almost inexplicably, during the time of economic, military and political crisis, which spread a lot in the last two centuries of the Byzantine Empire, at cultural level, a flourishing age has been registered before the tragic end. This was possible due to the significant and multicultural Byzantine movement that was to bring into play the dawns of Humanism and Renaissance from the western world.
