Loanwords: a glimpse of textbooks of the Lithuanian language

Summary/Abstract: In the textbooks of the Lithuanian language loanwords are treated separately and often are outside the scope of other linguistic issues. Moreover, they are not presented very consistently and systemically. Actual use and examples given in the textbooks are completely different; therefore, when revising the material of textbooks, it is important that loanwords are selected with more precision, considering the results of research into actual use.
