Summary/Abstract: This article attempts to identify quality as an important determinant of development of rural tourism. Based on available secondary sources and the results of their research the main determinants of tourism competitiveness were identified. One of the most important is high quality of tourism offers. Analyzing the issue of quality refers to five dimensions of service quality, model of partial qualities and the distribution on functional and technical quality.
