The evolution of the privatization barriers of public enterprises in Poland

Summary/Abstract: Privatization of state enterprises in Poland is an important economic problem. Its implementation is required, because it leads to the improvement of the condition of Polish economy. The process of ownership transformation in Poland continues, although initially its rapid implementation was planned. Undoubtedly various barriers contributed to this. Obstacles that appeared and can still be encountered during the transformation are burdensome and cost intensive and inhibit the process of privatisation, stretching it significantly over time. The aim of the article is to show variability in time of the impact of various barriers on the process of privatization of state-owned enterprises in Poland.
