The effects of town twinning cooperation of the main cities of Lower Silesia Voivodeship

Summary/Abstract: During the period of political changes and building the local government in Poland town twinning cooperation became really valuable because it let Polish local government learn from experienced governments in West European countries. In this article the effects of town twinning cooperation in the main cities of Lower Silesia voivodeship (Jelenia Góra, Legnica, Wałbrzych and Wrocław) are compared. This region is the most active one in Poland when the international activity of voivodeships or commons is considered.
