Summary/Abstract: Cezar-Paul Bădescu takes an interview with Lucian Boia. The main subject of this dialogue is the meaning and the importance of the “idol”. The journalist tries to use the term in as many as possible meanings: sport, politics, media, fashion and show. The conclusion is that without so much mediatization (in particular television), the idols would have been as they were in the past: more spiritual.
