Summary/Abstract: When one hears the word "terrain", one thinks, in legal aspect, of its possessive meaning. Now, if the word is accompanied by the determinative of the house, and therefore the ground of the house, there remains no researcher of popular architecture, especially of the peasant dwelling, in which at least noble sentiments awaken. But in this case, it is otherwise: it is not the possessive sense of the word. This applies to lawyers and even ethnologists who study phenomena of this nature. In our times, in Albania, this possessive sense causes pain and sadness at the same time. Do we not hear, in everyday conversations, expressions such as: they have killed themselves for their lands or else they will kill for the land etc. I've heard about it. I have, moreover, a sad recollection of an event of which I have lived only the echo, and I have only seen traces. I will tell him hoping his message will be understood by the reader.
