Summary/Abstract: The author suggests a redefinition of the term “feminine novel” by reserving it to those novelistic texts, whose implicit author, narrator and protagonist are feminine subjects, presenting feminine view and feminine speech. She discerns three various types of such feminine novels in contemporary Czech literature: the idylic, documentary and estethising. The last two she perceives as key and the most relevant ones.
