Healing the Soul through the Eucharist

Summary/Abstract: St. Gregory Palamas makes several references extraordinary theological homely on the Sacrament of the Eucharist. Eucharistic Mystery is one of the central mysteries of the Church, by which man receives healing and salvation default. St. Gregory teaches that Christ became our brother the Incarnation. By discovering the mysteries became our friend, and the Holy Communion by His blood became impart with our Bridegroom. He has united us and a twin and a groom with the bride, sharing with the blood, making us one body. Thus the mystery of the Eucharist, the tasting of His Body and Blood becomes our Bridegroom, that cleanses us and we dressed in the light of the Trinity. Christ through Holy Communion gives us union with him, not only by the spirit, but the fl esh, of His fl esh and of His bones.
