The Unity of the Church and the Salvation of All Men through and in Christ

Summary/Abstract: The present article is a part of a major work that deals with the subject of the communion in the Church. The unity of the Church, under all of its forms of manifestation, becomes real in a way of life specifi c to the Christian life, which has as its fi nal purpose the Salvation. The unity of faith, love and manifestation of the Church in the community ethos are either att ributes and requirements of the eschatological tension. In the end, the Eucharist, which represents the highest and the most concrete union of the human being with the dead and resurrected Christ, and a union between the believers themselves is, at the same time, a condition and a purpose of the unity in the Church.
