Summary/Abstract: The study addresses, by comparative manner, the issue of the Sacraments of Initiation in the sacramental ministry of the Church, in the two largest Christian denominations - Orthodox and Roman Catholicism. Analytical relationship between the two major Christian doctrines, that wants a constant in this paper, commits to a deep insight into the reality of the sacramental nature of the Sacraments of Initiation, as they were defi ned, stated and interpreted based on scriptural and patristic sources; such research approach achieved an overall view of the comparative nature of the relationships reported. Powered by a quad-sharing of research, the study appealed to the gathering of referential opinions, judgments and arguments for the topics addressed in the research.
