Summary/Abstract: The theological method of Hans Urs von Balthasar enrol at the beginning of the millennium as an eschatological vision of the whole theology of the Church of Christ, fi rst synthesizing the entire Philokalic and philosophic creation of the twenty centuries of Christianity with large incursions into the depths of the human being. His mission was to open vast fi elds of a strong theological living, of a very strong philosophical character, creating a counterweight to the Ignatian exercises of Ignatio of Loyola. We might call his work a thesis on rescue the man from the thickets of any spiritual experience and especially from those of a certain ideology. Developing several concepts, the most important being that of „analogy”, Balthasar gives to the post-modern and supra-tehnologic man an important spiritual weapon during his integration in what is supposed to be the body of the Church.
