Results of pollen analysis of organic deposits in Rawa Mazowiecka

Summary/Abstract: This article gives environmental background of settlement within the last ca 3000 years in Rawka valley, central Poland. Archeological, investigations were initiated before an expressway and ring road for the town Rawa Mazowiecka construction. Samples of organic sediments were taken from the archeological profile and used for pollen analysis. Palinological diagram shows vegetation development and revealed three phases of human impact.
