Russian Mass Political and Legal Consciousness in the Context of the Eurasian Mentality

Summary/Abstract: This article deals with some peculiarities of Russian (“national”) legal and political consciousness historically developed as a result of the Eurasian nature of Russia. It is proved that they have considerably changed in the process of modern capitalist history of Russia, but can still be regarded as factors demonstrating the possibility of an alternative civilizational model of development, other than the Western one.
