Summary/Abstract: his study connects the question of divinatory phenomena (in general and especially their actuality) with the collective imaginary. From the Pareto sociology’s point of view, the divinatory art can be interpreted as a residue that develops in time and history following a precise combinatory rule (see in this regard the fractals theory by Ioan Petru Culianu). This way of analysing helped me to formulate, in six categories, the conclusions on the relations between divinatory phenomena and the collective imaginary.
