Summary/Abstract: The paper draws the literary and spiritual profile of a group of poets belonging to the third “Forrás” generation of the Hungarian literature in Romania, as well as of the Romanian poets of the 80’s. We discuss about the stylistical, thematic as well as poetical options, considering the collective outlook on the literary output that on the one hand renders these groups distinctive in the literary context before the 1989, on the other hand incorporates them in the canonical background of the Hungarian, as well as Romanian literature. Following the latest, the present paper reveals the common features of the two groups of poets (both on the level of their literary universe, as well as on the level of their literary and cultural impact), identifying differences in the methods and authors’ technics used by both groups as well as certain particularities related to the role they play in the literary and cultural scenery after 1989.
