Structure of economic activity and region competitiveness

Summary/Abstract: The main objective of this paper is to analyze and evaluate the structure of economic activities as one of the most important factors of regional competitiveness. This goal was realized through the regional characteristics of the voivodeship-level indicators of employment structure by sector, the structure of gross value added by sector and an analysis of gross value added per employee by sector.
