Power Objects in Castaneda's Work

Summary/Abstract: The article analyses the features and significance of the so-called "power objects". Don Juan explains to his apprentice that some objects possess an inner power, but that - surprinsingly - the objects themselves have no special significance unless they are charged with power by the sorcerer. Carlos is initiated in the process of creating power weapons in order to transcend to another level of reality (the second atention).
