Summary/Abstract: Learning, education, and training becomes more and more internationalized. As examples, study programs are exported across borders, curricula are harmonized across Europe, learners work in globally distributed groups. However, the quality of educational offers differs dramatically. In this paper, an approach to manage quality for globally distributed education providers is presented. The key areas of global learning quality are defined. Based on this concept, a sample implementation is described using the international quality standard ISO/IEC 19796-1. The paper shows how quality should be implemented and identifies key challenges.
