The Boat Motif in the Poetry of Miloš Crnjanski

Summary/Abstract: The text will look back on the poem Fate by Miloš Crnjanski and its influence on the writer’s opus. The idea for this came from the poet himself who indicated that the poem on its own would be enough, in his work Ithaca and commentaries. On the other hand, the context that Alcaeus’ and Horatio’s poems of the boat in the storm provided will be discussed.
