Summary/Abstract: The paper intends a short incursion into the poetical work of two important writers of the Romanian and the Austrian literature: george bacovia and Georg Trakl, in order to emphasize a few aspects referring to images and literary strategies that are common between the two and strengthen a previous observation of the Romanian literary critic concerning the spiritual convergence of the two poets.
