The basic scope of management control over investment projects carried out underthe public-private partnership scheme

Summary/Abstract: As a public entity, a local government unit is entitled and obliged, at the same time, to exercise day-to-day control of an undertaking carried out by a private partner. The principles of and detailed procedures for such a control, at the project implementation stage and during the project useful life, are important provisions in a public-private partnership agreement. The paper presents the basic scope and the principles of management control over investment projects carried out under the PPP scheme.
