Management of investment projects carried outin accordance with fidic conditions of contract

Summary/Abstract: The article concerns the issue of management of investment projects as infrastructure projects. Good practice in the management of such projects (contracts) is the use of recognized patterns, among them standards created by the Federation Internationale des Ingenieurs Conseils (FIDIC). The purpose of this article is to demonstrate the impact of FIDIC contract conditions on the implementation of the contracts (projects) and the means of management. To conduct the next study of literature and selected acts, a practical example of the analysis of the selected contract executed under FIDIC procedures was used. Special attention is paid to the role of a project Engineer as the most important role to manage the project in all phases of the project.
