Summary/Abstract: This article presents the results of research on the concept of normality. The goal of the research is to identify factors affecting the process of classification of human behaviour or features as normal. The collected data indicates that – in addition to the frequency of occurrence – rating the phenomenon as positive or negative is responsible for considering it as a normal or abnormal. In this article we will also show possible philosophical implications of the results. The study was conducted in compliance with methods of experimental philosophy.
