Summary/Abstract: This article deals with the life and activity (didactic, scientific and publicistic) of Ananie Fărcaş, assistant professor, former member of Pedagogy Department at “Victor Babeş”/”Babeş-Bolyai” University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania, who for 30 years had been an expert in general pedagogy as well as in the history of Romanian education in Transylvania.
