Summary/Abstract: The paper aims to analyse possible strategies of raising teacher s intercfultural sensitivity in the Balkan countries, starting from the hypothesis that we all are less ethnocentric concerning cultural differences in education. An appropriate pedagogy for intercultural teaching of adults can bring about the necessary methodological changes and integrate the Balkan countries in the new paradigm of a modern education;
