Summary/Abstract: The article studies the general development of the circle “Zveno” in the time 1928 - May 1934. Subject is the study of the influence of the Italian fascism on its ideology; the ideological similarity between political circle “Zveno” and .Naroden sgovor.; the connection of the circle with the Secret military alliance and the proximity of part of the beliefs of the “Zveno” participants with some of the ideological messages of the Great lodge of Bulgaria. The circle underwent evolution as an organization and ideology. Its conceptions had eclectical character and changed through the years. The formation, without drafting a complete program, was adherent to non-partisan and integrate tendencies. It proclaimed its support for authoritarian power, raised above the strictly party interests, with national purpose. The fascists influence on the Zveno is undisputed, but the ideology of the circle in its character is not fascist. “Zveno” became an organization, drew its inspiration apart from the Italian fascism, also from the regimes in Turkey, Poland, USA and Germany. The political circle “Zveno” is a peculiar follower and continuer of the ideas of the Naroden sgovor. Through the whole short history of that circle up to 19 of May 1934 it was connected with the name of Damjan Velchev and that part of the Secret military alliance, which was close to him. A part of the most basic ideological postulates of the Bulgarian Great lodge were propagandized from the political circle “Zveno”. Having in mind the close connections and contacts among Kimon Georgiev, Damjan Velchev and Petar Midilev we could allow also the availability of coordinated actions of Zveno, the Secret military alliance and the Great lodge of Bulgaria in the last years and months preceding the coup d’etat from 19 of May 1934.
