Summary/Abstract: The biography and intellectual legacy of Pranas Dovydaitis is of great interest to historians and students of the humanities. His noble personality and versatile activity are studied on the basis of his own writings and archive documents. Until now, his letters to Ona Bačinskaitė-Mačiunskienė, a public figure, remain unpublished. Nevertheless, they contain some unique data concerning Dovydaitis' last years in Lithuania. Therefore, the author of this article hopes that their publication here will be useful for further studies.
