Summary/Abstract: The 9th International Environment Art. Festival was organized in April 2004 in Cheng-ju City (South Korea). Twenty artists from different countries showed their pictures, installations, and performances in a beautiful setting of the Cheng-ju City Art Center, and Dae Cheong Lake. Neil Berecry Brown and Park Boung Uk were the curators of the show. Sandy James from Australia showed pictures, Gerhard Schatz from Austria showed graphic art, and Paul Cullen from New Zeland showed photographs. Naomi Veronica Lamb from New Zeland showed a video. Alois Schild (Austria) and Bill Zingaro (U.S.A.) built objects. Ursula Stadler (Switzerland), Neil Berecry Brown, and Sonia van Kerkhof (Holland) and others showed installations. Performances were organized by Josef Biro (Hungary), Athanasia Harilaos Kyriakakos (Greece) and other artists. Andreas Pytlik from Germany printed a green postcard with an instruction in the Korean language: ‘please send this greencard to yourself per post’. Andrzej Dudek-Duerer from Poland performed as ‘living sculpture’.
