Summary/Abstract: This paper deals with the beginning of the unknown activity of the famous person of the Slovak history of 20th century Robert Wiliam Seton-Watson. He did unique unconventional project named The New Europe. Its plan was to affect to public of Great Britain and British politicians for their support of the reconstruction of Europe after Great War on the basis of fair solution of small nations in the Central and South Europe including Slovak. This project had two parts: weekly revue with same name The New Europe and 2 communities. One of them has been created by some famous academics and experts of Europe who published their articles in this weekly magazine. They have been united unformaly around it and we can call them Neweuropeans. Other was official named The New Europe Society and its members were the known individualities of British society a politicians. They had to do a personal lobbing among the representants of British government for the support of the fight of small nations. The project The New Europe did a lot for their freedom including Slovaks.
