PROBLEMS OF TEXTILE RAW MATERIALS MARKET DEVELOPMENT IN UKRAINE

Summary/Abstract: Textile raw materials market in Ukraine is in the state of crisis, which negatively affects development of the domestic textile industry due to lack of adequate raw materials supply. The article presents a number of problems, determining the current state of the domestic market of textile raw materials. A range of approaches that will have a positive impact on the development of this market in Ukraine is proposed and grounded. The main factors are put under the research that determines the assortment structure of the domestic market of textile raw materials and its individual segments – textile fibres, vegetable dyes and textile-auxiliary substances. The article focuses on finding ways of ecologization and optimization of range of textile raw materials main types, improving their quality, environmental safety and competitiveness. Further research should focus on developing organizational and economic mechanisms to ensure the effective functioning of the textile raw materials market in Ukraine.
