Summary/Abstract: The article is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the State Historical Preserve in the most popular place of interest in Ukraine. It combines monastery (acting from the 11th cent. till present) with the State museum founded in 1926. The main subject of the article concerns difficulties, deriving from different intensions of the State, Municipal and Clergy Authorities and Scientists, especially Archeologists, coexisting and cooperating on the same territory.
