Muliticultural Education in Transilvania. The Case of "Babes - Bolayi" University

Summary/Abstract: This article deals with the discussions on the University Babes-Bolyai in Cluj. The authors starting point is that the university education is of crucial importance for the interpretation of "real" multiculturality. At the first, he presented those specificities that characterize the region of Central and East Europe, especially the given region in Rumenia. Beside the setting of relevant empirical data, he examines the problem of multiculturality in the comparative perspective. His purpose is to build in the article the leading thoughts of the theoretical interpreters of multiculturality. At the end he refers to the modell of education that carefully endorses the numerical criterions, criterions of professionality and the conditions of the locality.
