Summary/Abstract: The german population living in Wallachia converted to lutheranism at about the same time as the transylvanian saxons. The article presents details about the priests of Câmpulung in 17th century. Ananias was the last lutheran priest, but was ousted in 1639 in the context of the conversion of the parish by Franciscans as part of the counter-reformation. For the moment, this was the end of the lutheran presence in Wallachia, as well as of the connections between the germans from Wallachia and the transylvanian saxons. The following catholic priests had to cope with the ever hrinking number of catholics in Câmpulung. Contains 2 pictures.
