Summary/Abstract: From the translator: Chapter II of Henryk Skolimowski's book Polish Analytical Philospohy. A Survey and a Comparison with British Analytical Philosophy (The Humanities Press, New York 1967, p. 277ff.), presented here, concerns mainly two problems. Firstly, Twardowski's contribution to the philosophy of mind (Skolimowski shows that Twardowski takes precedence over Meinong's considerations) and, secondly, Twardowski's attitude toward the classical theory of truth with an thorough description of the further development of this theory in Lvow-Warsaw School. He also considers the rise of the polish analytical movement.
